We are excited to announce that one of our own football players, Cooper Hagen, has made school history for the East Mills Football Program. Cooper has been selected to play at the Iowa Shrine Bowl in July at the UNI Dome! He is the first student athlete at East Mills to be chosen for this great opportunity. Congrats Cooper!

Holly Brown and Michelle Mayhew have been paras at East Mills while going to school at William Penn the past 3 years. They were a part of the TPRA (Teacher & Paraeducator Registered Apprenticeship Program) grant, which funded a para-to-teacher pathway. Their schooling was paid for while also working as a para. This program was funded across the state. They just finished up their student teaching and have successfully gained their Iowa Teaching licenses. Congrats, Ms. Brown and Mrs. Mayhew!

Being a Wolverine means showing up, doing your best, and lifting others along the way. Congratulations to our November Wolverines of the Month, who do just that! Thank you for setting a strong example for our school community!
