FFA State Participants

FCCLA State Participants

The East Mills FCCLA participated at the state STAR event competition in Des Moines.   These participants were Molly Rutz, Zoey Courtier, Merika Houtchens, Jose Sanchez and Joey Poorker.   Zoey, Merika, Jose and Joey each earned a bronze medal.  Molly Rutz advanced to the National competition in San Diego, CA this summer.  Molly's project was in the Fashion Design category. Fourth Grade Wax Museum

East Mills Elementary Raises $2,770.43 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The 5th & 6th grade TAG language class recently completed their service project, Pennies for Patients, to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  The kick off for the two week campaign began with an assembly with Anne DeVries, from LLS, explaining what blood cancer is and how the money raised would help with research and expenses for families traveling long distances to the hospitals in Omaha.  From there, the . . .
