EM Elementary Receives Grant

The Mills County Community Foundation Advisory Board awarded a grant in the amount of $7099 to the East Mills Community School District.  This grant was made possible through the Mills County HF 2302 Grant Fund. These funds will be used to purchase iPad and iPad cases for the elementary classrooms. Students will be able to create stories digitally, take pictures on field trips, record their findings, and practice handwriting and math facts using a multitude of apps. Students will be able to share their creations with their teachers or teach peers a skill by connecting tablets to the smart board. Having these iPads will allow our students more technology in the classroom and the capability of more students using technology to become a better learner.   A sincere thank you to the Mills County Community Foundation for their generous contribution to the project.
